Lombardia established this Saturday a new meeting record in the 4x50 female freestyle in the preliminary heats of the 34th Porto International Meeting, that is taking place at the Campanhã Swimming Complex.
The Italian quartet, formed by Veronica Neri, Stefania Ongaro, Sara Ongaro and Martina Fiorito, completed the distance in 1.47,34, overcoming the previous maximum (1.47,38) that already belonged to the transalpine formation since 2005.
The finals begin at 4.30 p.m.
Porto International Meeting, organized by the Associação de Natação do Norte de Portugal in partnership with Porto Lazer, is the fourth and last competition integrated in the first editionof the Portuguese-Andalucia track.
