Etienne Medeiros (Brazil) set a new record in the 50m backstroke competition of the 31. º Meeting Internacional do Porto, which is taking place at the Campanhã Municipal Pool.
The Brazilian swimmer registered a time of 28.68, surpassing the previous maximum of Italian Elisa Apostoli (29.56) since 2012.
