
Lombardy collectively won the International Meeting of Povoa de Varzim, 2011, in an edition which established 10 new records of the meeting and two juveniles national maximum. The Italian team totaled 1049 points, ahead of the selection of Israel with 1003.5 points.
Yakov Toumarkin (Israel), with 790 points in the 100 backstroke (56.17), and Mercedes Minguet (Santa Olaya), with 868 points in 50 backstroke (28.36) were the swimmers with better performance in the competition.
