João Vital, swimmer qualified for the European Championship in Glasgow, is one of the main swimmers from Sporting that will be present at the 34th Porto International Meeting, taking place at the Campanhã Swimming Complex on the 2nd and 3rd of June.
The team oriented by Carlos Cruchinho, five times national champion in the 1st Male Division, will present 10 athletes at the competition: Gonçalo Caldeira, Tiago Costa, Ruy Domingos, André Grenho, Martim Malfeito, Pedro Pinto, Diogo Valente, João Vital, Filipa Peixeira and Beatriz Ranito.
João Vital, integrated at the CAR from Jamor, is enrolled in the 400 freestyle.
Porto International Meeting, organized by the Associação de Natação do Norte de Portugal in partnership with Porto Lazer, is the last event that allows qualification for the Absolute European Championship, taking place in Glasgow (Scottland) from the 3rd to the 9th of August.
