Rodolfo Nunes, regional technical director of the Associação de Natação do Norte de Portugal, considers that the XXIV Porto International Meeting, that will take place next weekend at the Campanhã Swimming Complex , “will have fnals predicted to be competed until the last milimetre, being that the swimmers can´t facilitate in the morning if they want to fight for the victory in the finals”.
The competition will have the participation of 413 athletes (218 male and 195 female) representing 57 teams.
To the 46 Portuguese clubs, are joining a Danish, six Spanish, two Italian and two Swiss teams.
“It will be a conmpetition with more balance and quality than its previuous editions, taking into account the national and international swimmers that are visitng us and their good level”, mentions the technical director.
Rodolfo Nunes emphasizes the main goals of the meeting: “Last adjustments of the Junior national team aiming at the European, national, regional and Porto Meeting records”.
Porto International Meeting is organized by the Associação de Natação do Norte de Portugal in partnership with Porto Lazer.
