Rodolfo Nunes, regional director of Associação de Natação do Norte de Portugal, is waiting for Porto Wos International Meeting to be “a well-balanced meeting with competitive finals, giving the good swimmers that will be present”.
The 33rd edition will take place this weekend at the Swimming Complex of Campanhã.
“In terms of the meeting's objetcives we enhance the last chance that the juniors have to obtain the minimum time for the Europe Chanpionship in their age, with the presence of the junior national team, the possibility of obtaining minimum time for the Junior World Championship, the possibility of obtaining minimum time for the World Absolute Championship, national records and Porto Meeting records”, refers the director.
The 33rd Porto International Meeting, that will count with the participation of 352 athletes (190 male and 162 female) representing 55 teams, is organized by Associação de Natação do Norte de Portugal and World of Sports, with the support of Porto Lazer, FC Porto and Junta de Freguesia de Campanhã.
